LOCATION Quiet plaza road in front of an Ochre villa: columns , arched doors , a black iron street lamp , one dark tree. Warm walls , cool car. The house is the backdrop , not the subject , so keep it soft and let it fill the top of the frame. PICTURE CAR Teal-green 1950s sedan with real patina: chalky paint , chrome trim , whitewall tyre , cream vinyl door card. Wear matters. A showroom-clean car turns this into an ad. A tired one turns it into a memory. WARDROBE Rajasthani embroidery traditional light-pink kurta , white dhoti , dark brown leather Jutti and long curly white mustache , accessorized with delicate framed glasses. Every piece is period , but nothing is costume-loud. BLOCKING Seated sideways in the open driver's doorway. One forearm rests on top of the door , the other hand lies on her lap. Legs crossed at the knee and sent out of the car in one long line , toes almost touching the asphalt. Don't make her climb out. The power comes from not moving. LIGHT Overcast , flat , slightly moody. No hard sun means no squint , no harsh shadow on the pearls. Teal goes muted and cyan , the villa stays warm ochre. That temperature split does the colour grading for you. LENS Around 40mm at seated chest height , straight on. The open door makes a frame inside the frame , and she sits right in it. DIRECTION NOTE Chin a touch down , look straight into the lens over the glasses , lips in a cool pout. She isn't waiting for anyone. ,
