Background to the pokemon jaden theme: how like Spider-Man is the most expensive marvel character and has multiple Storylines and people that play Spider-Man in the Multiverse Pokémon Jaden is supposed reflect that with many many different versions and is also to be a family friendly character and when the movie says “Pokemon Jaden - homecoming “ or something like that it is a G or PG movie that the whole family can enjoy. one of the issues with Pokémon when it first came out in the 90’s was it Similarities to dog/chicken fighting. so in order to Get rid of that idea the Pokémon are basically in the story “made up imaginary animals” with chakra “magic metaphysics” and not actual animals fighting on behave of humans. And for Avatar Jaden her real animal companion instead of “Appa” a flying bison its “Opa” a “take no sh*t” sea dragon thats scary because avatar jaden is a combo of avatar the last air bender and jinx from Arcane (she uses guns to shoot her chakra infused water but can also use any elements and its not made with chakra like the pokemons squirtle into physical form it is the actual elements around that bend to her will through training in china with “the old man on the mountain” live free or die b*tch lol.
