A vertically composed monochrome artwork depicts two human figures emerging from and dissolving into expressive black and gray ink washes against a nearly white background. The dominant figure occupies the center and lower half of the image , shown in profile with the head bowed and turned toward the right. Fine black strokes define the closed or lowered eye , nose , lips , and strands of dark hair , while much of the face and body remains partially submerged in translucent gray washes. Behind and above this figure , a second face appears more faintly , almost concealed within a dense mass of sweeping black brushwork. Broad strokes , delicate lines , splatters , and smoky watercolor textures flow diagonally through the composition , making the figures seem caught between physical form and abstraction. In the lower right , three lines of Gujarati text read: “આપણા જ નડે છે.../ બાકી બીજા તો.../ આપણને ક્યાં ઓળખે જ છે...” Beneath the poem is a small calligraphic emblem combining black circular brushwork with vivid red strokes , blossoms , droplets , and a rectangular red seal. The restrained black , white , gray , and red palette gives the image the character of contemporary East Asian ink painting fused with intimate visual poetry. ,
