In the depths of Middle-earth , where shadows held sway and darkness reigned supreme , there dwelt Morgoth , the fallen Vala , once known as Melkor , the mightiest of the Ainur. His heart blackened by envy and pride , Morgoth sought dominion over all creation , defying the will of Eru Ilúvatar , the One. From his fortress of Angband , Morgoth unleashed his legions of orcs and balrogs upon the lands , spreading fear and despair among the free peoples of Middle-earth. With his cunning and malice , he sowed discord among elves and men , corrupting their hearts and turning them against one another. But amidst the darkness , a glimmer of hope remained. The valiant deeds of heroes like Fëanor and Beren stood as beacons of resistance against Morgoth's tyranny. Though Morgoth's power seemed boundless , the flame of courage still burned bright in the hearts of those who dared to defy him , for even in the darkest of nights , the light of Eärendil's star pierced through the shadows , heralding the eventual downfall of Morgoth , and the dawning of a new age in Middle-earth. ,
